Glam Girl Hippo

This card meets four different challenges. The first one is for Melanie Muenchinger. You can check out the challenge here. The second and third challenges are the ways to use it (WT173) and the sketch challenge (SC183) from SCS, and the last one is the dazzle us with something challenge on Stamp Something. I am loving this set from Gina K. It was fun making this card, I used lovely lilac and certainly celery with whisper white for the paper. After stamping the hippo I stamp the little flower and then drew in the stem and added a small rhinestone to the center. I then cut it out with my rectangle nestablilities and sponged the edges. On the hippo I water colored her in lovely lilac water color crayons added purple toenail polish (twinklettes). Then I made some eyelashes for her by cutting grosgrain ribbon length wise and then fringing it. Here is a close-up.

For the background I stamped the flower in lovely lilac ink matted it on whisper white. for the celery layer I scored it in a diamond pattern and mounted it under the lilac layer. then added the "dew drops" from Michael's. I really like this girly card. Thanks for looking.
