Stamp of the Week with Repeat Impressions~Dandelions

The stamp of the week this week at Repeat Impressions is this wonderful sentiment stamp Dandelions and it is available this week only for 50% off with the discount code found at Repeat Impressions blog.   Please visit the blog for all the details and to see the other Rock Star's cards using this stamp.  Leisure is a great sentiment stamp and can be used for my types of cards.  Here I paired it with Butterfly (sm) and  the sentiment In All Things to create this card.

 

I started by sponging the background with Memento inks: Summer Sky, Bahama Blue, and Dunube Blue.  Then I stamped the Dandelions stamp three times in a row and teh sentiment with Stazon black.  The butterfly was stamped on a scrap piece of card stock colored with copics(B12, B16 and N3).  After cutting out the butterfly I popped it up with pop dots. The embossed frame was created with nestabilites card basics.

To get the panel piece I stamped the grape wreath stamp three times using a stamp positioner to line them up straight.

This is the card I created using it.  

My sister and her hubby are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary next week so this was prefect timing for me to create an anniversary card for them.  To make the numbers I took to pieces of number grunge board and inked them up with embossing ink.  I then started adding layers of fine detail silver embossing powder.  Adding each layer as the last layer was still hot and melty.  There must be about 10 layers on them to get a nice smooth finish.
