Spring Gardening

Hello and Happy weekend!!!  I hope you had a nice week.  It has been crazy busy for me again.  Today I have a card using one of the new images from Whimsy Stamps May digi release.

Butterfly Flourish

Hello and Happy Saturday!  today I have a card I made using Butterfly Flourish Set 2 from  Chrissy's Digis the new digital release from Whimsy Stamps. 

The sentiment is from Smile Sentiments.  Did you see that feather?  I found it at Michaels last week and had to have it.  There are beautiful teal, purple and gray feathers in the bag.  I am going to have a lot of fun with them.

Smiles Across The Miles

Hello I have a super quick post to show you a card I made with Hot Air Balloons from Moon Cookie Gallery for Whimsy Stamps.

StampTV CSS Alumni Spring Has Sprung

Hello it is time for another StampTV CSS Alumni Blog Hop. I used Birds and Blossoms illustrated by Theresa Momber.  Sorry the photo is a little washed out.  I have the hardest time with yellows and blues.  No matter how many photos I took or times I tried fixing it in photoshop I couldn't get it any better.  I will keep this very short as we are having internet outages in our area today and I don't know how much longer I have before we lose it again.

Still Hot

Hello I hope you week is off to a great start.  It is Monday so that means it is time for a new Greeting Card Challenge at The Outlawz.  This week our challenge is to DIY patterned paper. Check out our sponsor this week.

I used Still Hot from Bugaboo Stamps.  I created the background by sponging pink on white paper and then stamping pink flowers on it.  I did the dame for the "wallpaper" behind the image.  Be sure to check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the team. I am also entering this into Just Us Girls Challenge to use the colors pretty in pink, so saffron, regal rose and certainly celery.

Blue Angel

Hello and Happy Monday!!  I am excited to say that a few weeks back I was ask to be a guest designer for Through The Craftroom Door Challenge.  Of course I said yes!!  I love their challenge and enjoy playing along.  The design team is uber talented and they always offer up such beautiful inspiration.  The challenge is Anything Goes!!  How cool it that?  I want to thank Sandi and the rest for the design team for choosing me for this opportunity to be their guest designer. 

I was provided with a beautiful image Charity Angel from Michelle Perkett Studios to work with.  Oh I did have fun coloring her.

Learning to Dance In The Rain

Hello I want to start off saying that I am deeply saddened by the explosions today in Boston.  I can't even comprehend  the evil and anger that must harbor in the heart of beings that do these types of crimes.  My thoughts and prayers are going out to all of the victims and their loved ones.

Okay time for something happier.  It is time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge.  This week the challenge is April Showers.  You know what that means?  May flowers are just around the corner and with them much nicer weather.  This week Eureka Stamps is sponsoring our challenge.

I used Dance in the Rain from Unity and colored up this cutie with copics.  Added some glossy accents to the boots and used the sketch I created for last weeks CSS blog hop.  To create the rain drops I used the brush tip of copic marker BG000, it makes prefect little tear drop shapes. Hello I have a super quick post today to share a card I made for Flourishes April release Summer Lovin' Challenge.
