Live the Life

Hello I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It has been like Spring here. The flowers are all starting to bloom. On to my project, I created this corner bookmark for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. I had never made a corner bookmark so this intrigued me. I followed Beate's tutorial on SCS and it was easy peasy. I will be making more in the future. I used Life Love and Lemons from Flourishes.

I want to sorry for the lack of posts lately.  I have been working on some projects that I can't show just yet.  Soon I will be back on a more normal (for me) schedule.  Thank you for stopping by.

The Cuttlebug Spot- Spring is in the Air

Hello it is time for another The Cuttlebug Spot challenge. The theme this time is Spring is in the air.
When I see daffodils for the first time each year I know that Spring is close so I knew I wanted to use them on my card. I love yellow and green together and it makes for a great color combo with the daffodils. I also used this week sketch from Card Positioning Systems.  Make sure to head over to The Cuttlebug Spot to see the gorgeous creations from my team mates.  I hope you can play along.  Thank you for stopping by.

StampTV CSS Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello it is time for another StampTV CSS blog hop. You should have arrived here from the fabulously creative Cheri, if not be sure to start the hop over on StampTV.  This time Karen found this fabulous Canvas from Art.com for our inspiration.
Here is my take on the inspiration.

I picked the colors to use as my inspiration.  Then I textured each piece with a different embossing folder.  The hot air balloon is from Eclectic Summer, the sentiment is from Mountain Wilderness both from Gina K Designs.

Your final stop on the hop is Betty.  Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (February 14), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!

I will be entering this card into the following challenges
StampTV Friday Free For All: Something that moves
CPS: day 10 sketch

Thank you for stopping by.

Don't Worry... Be Happy

This is a card I made for day 3 of the celebration sketches for Card Positioning Systems. I am working out of order, but hope to get them all done. I will also be entering this into iCopics Lovers challenge this week Hearts. I just love this little guy, he is so cute. He is Happy Little Gnome from Whimsy Stamps. I got him last summer and colored him a few months ago and finally after him sitting on my table staring back at me I decided to make him into a card. He is colored with copics and then I masked him off and sponged the background with memento inks. Thank you for stopping by.

Hello Friend

Hello I hope all is well with you. Sorry to have dropped of the radar this week. I have had a sick dog she is 14 and in failing health, but for now she is doing much better and we are very grateful for that. unfortunately it has killed my creativity though and I am struggling to get it back. I worked on this card all week, I hate it when that happens. I am hoping to spend the super bowl tomorrow stamping and getting back into the groove. Enough about me on to my card.  I made this for Joy's Mix It Up Monday challenge on StampTV to use pearls and one of the sketch challenges for Card Positioning Systems. CPS is having a huge three year anniversary challenge with a new sketch each day. I am hoping to be able to do several of them tomorrow to catch up. I used the butterfly from Dogwood and Butterfly, the flower from Enjoy the Sunshine and the sentiment from Stately Flowers 1 all from Gina K Designs.  The patterned paper is from Echo Park's Victoria Gardens.  Whether you watch the Superbowl, the commercials or stamp on Sunday I hope you have a great day.  Thank you for stopping by.
