Time to Twinkle

Hello Happy Sunday!! I have a card to share today that I made for the challenge at Through The Craftroom Door. The challenge is Anything goes with a twist. White with two other colors. I picked red and black for my two other colors.
The image is from Kraftin Kimmie's last release called Marilyn. As soon as I saw this stamp I knew I had to have it as I thought it would be so fun to color and I was right. I had a blast making this card. I colored her with copics and after cutting her out I sponged with Memento gray flannel. Thank you for stopping by and make sure to come back on Monday as it is time for another Greetings Card Challenge for The Outlawz.

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges

This week the challenge for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is scallops.  Kraftin Kimmie is also sponsoring some other challenges in blogland.  I decided to combine a few of them together and came up with this.

The other challenges I mentioned are Card Positioning Systems sketch and ABC Challenge, P is for Pink.  I had the idea for this card early this week, but things kept getting in the way of my crafting time so I am getting this card in just under the wire for the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge.  I have to get cooking dinner for my hunger family so I am keeping this post short.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend and thank you for stopping by.

Kraftin' Kimmie Sketch #66

Today I have a card I made for Kraftin' Kimmies Stamps sketch challenge. A month ago on StampTV Gina did a video showing how to use nestabilities fancy tags to make a fancy border, well I loved the idea and have been meaning to give it a try every since.  It is very easy and wow what a wonderful mat it makes.  I will be doing more of these. At the beginning of making this card I planned on sewing on it.  That was the plan anyway and as it was coming together it must have slipped my mind and when I was editing the photo I realized that I had forgot, dang it is tough getting older and forgetting things.  I will be back Friday evening with a card I have yet to make for a CSS Alumni blog hop.  Thank you for stopping by.

Card Details
Stamps: Oliver-Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
Paper: Basic Grey DP, SU ballet blue
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, summer sky

Kraftin Kimmie Recipe Challenge

Super fast post tonight as I should have been in bed an hour ago and will pay for it tomorrow.  I made this for the recipe challenge for Kraftin Kimmie.  The recipe is three main colors, two patterned papers, one ribbon and one button.  I seem to be in the mood for green this week, maybe because I finally tired of red and pink from Valentines day cards.  My three colors are the light green base, black and medium tone green mats.  The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Origins.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Lady in Red

Happy Friday!!  Are you as happy as I am that the weekend is here?  For my card today I used the sketch from Mojo Monday.  This was a super fun sketch.  Then this week the challenge for Kraftin' Kimmie is Seeing Red, oh I have been on a red kick of late so I knew I wanted to do this one. I am also entering this in Stamp Something's challenge this week, Something for your Valentine.  Finally a new challenge for me is for The Spotted Chick, to use kraft on you project.  I have been following The Spotted Chick for awhile and wanted to join in on some of the challenges.  I have been trying harder to get myself more organized so I can do more challenges.  So I colored this wonderful little wench with copics.  I tried a new to me technique on the hair were you flick from the darkest area to the lightest.  I think I need to try a different paper as I had some trouble with the ink almost puddling on top of the paper.  I see a trip to my LSS tomorrow to get some different paper.  The dp is Basic Grey's Oliver collection.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  For me I am planning on stamping as much as possible.  Thank you for stopping by.

Beautiful!

Hello today I have a card I made for this weeks challenge for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  The challenge is Fairytales.  These stamps are so fun to color.  This card is also for today's Free For All challenge on SCS.  Today is Warm and Fuzzy, to use at least one warm color and something fuzzy. Well red is about as warm as you can get.  For the fuzzy I have the tulle running down the right side.  I am discovering I love using this wonderful fiber, but it is very difficult to photograph. The photo doesn't do this card justice.  I had a hard time with the lighting today. Thank you for stopping by.

Paper: pure luxury rocket red, Basic Grey Sugar Rush
Ink: memento tuxedo black, lady bug

This car may qualify for the card that took the longest to make.  I started coloring the image a week ago, got busy then it was time go back to work and then work took over my life to the whole week!  I was completely to totally exhausted by the time the weekend was here and I still had to card to make for The Cuttlebug Spot.  So this image sat on my work desk all week just waiting to some one to come and finish it up!!  Finally I have it finished, yay!  I worked in several challenges I will list below.  Don't you just love this image?? Kraftin Kimmie Stamps is celebrating the first year in business with a challenge to create a project using celebration as the theme.  I have only recently discovered Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, but I immediately fell in love with them.  Wow these images are so much fun to color and coloring is my favorite thing about paper crafting. I choose to use their  Snow White image.  Congratulations Kimmie on your first year, I look forward to many more years to come buying your stamps.  Thank you for stopping by.

Don't forget there is still some time to play along with the The Cuttlebug Spot for a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate to Custom Crops.

Bottoms Up!

I made this for the challenge on Kraftin Kimmie's blog to make a card using purple, orange and green.  Well I had to do a Halloween card and this is the prefect image for it.  I just love this gal.

So are you excited tomorrow is World Card Making Day?   Do you have any card making plans.  I do, I hope to spend the day making cards for many of the wonderful challenges that I know will be posted.  I may also be tempted into do a little stamp shopping.  Though I shouldn't as I have an order coming from Kraftin' Kimmie and Gina K Designs.  Speaking of Gina K Designs did you make it to the party last night?  It was a blast.  Theresa sent me her set and ask if I would make a few samples for the release, well I had to think about it for about a nano second.  So now you know why I have neglected my blog this week.  I will be posting those samples over the next few days.  And make sure you come by on Monday to see my first card for my design team spot for The Cuttlebug Spot.  Thank you for stopping by.

Want some??

Last week I ordered some stamps from Kraftin" Kimmie Stamps.  I loved this image and had to have it when I saw it.  Isn't she fun?  I have to tell you that I ordered on a Sunday and had my stamps on Saturday and they came from Canada!!  How is that for fast.  I order from he in the States and sometimes don't get stamps that fast.   Needless to say I will be ordering again.  Just a little note they come bare rubber.  I added teh foam backing and was ready to stamp.   Any way on to my card.  I made it for three challenges.  First is for Kraftin' Kimmmie Stamps!  to make a black and white card or a mostly black and white card.  I opted for the mostly black and white. the second challenge is for Copic Creations copic shading on your image or around you image or both!  Finally A Spoon Full of Sugar's challenge this week is Anything Goes, easy enough!

I have some exciting news to share with you soon. There is a little hint somewhere on my blog. ;-)  Thank you for stopping by.
