Tea-licious!
I made this card for two challenges. First is this weeks sketch challenge for Card Positioning System (CPS117). The second one is for the Cuttlebug Spot, to use brown and blue or brown and orange. I used MFT's Tea for Two and colored with copics. The colors are bashful blue and sahara sand, and the patterned paper is SU's retired Delicate Dots. The sahara sand mat is embossed with swiss dots. I wanted to use the back of it because it reminded me of swiss cheese.
As I am typing this I can see the I needed to cut the ribbon ends a little shorter, and after doing so it looks much better. I will try to post a new photo tomorrow, it is late tonight and I am having trouble even typing as I have a paper creating injury. I tried to snip off the end of one of my fingers! So I now have a band-aid on and boy is it ever hard to type when you can't feel the keys. Thank you for stopping by.
copics: B21, C0, C1, C3, E31, E35, E51, R22, R24

Absolutely TOO sweet! Great card! Your ribbons look too short though! (lol - just kidding!) Sorry about your finger! Have a great day - hope you got some rest!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, this is adorable! LOVE the color combination, too.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your hurt ... and I hate to say it, but I think your ribbon is a smidge too short!
LOLOL, I kid ... it's perfect as is!
Brenda, Brianna would tell you that it's not fun to have your finger snipped off! Glad it was just "almost" and hope you heal quickly! Sweet card -- that set of dp is my very favorite!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Great job on this weeks challenge. Thanks for joining us!
