Time Well Spent

I made this card using my level three hostess set Time Well Spent. I had been wanting to try the packing tape transfer technique. I found it very easy to do, and I liked the results. I feel it was a great way to give the butterflies a three dimensional look. I started by stamping the large flower first and then masking it and adding the other flowers. After water coloring them I popped up the center of the large flower and added some stickles. Before layer it I gave another go at paper piercing, I hope to get better at that soon.

This is a side view of the card so you can see how the butterflies are raised. Thanks for looking.

  2. Just beautiful! But I have to ask, what is the packing tape transfer technique? I love the butterfiles and would love to know how to make them.
