Want some??

Last week I ordered some stamps from Kraftin" Kimmie Stamps.  I loved this image and had to have it when I saw it.  Isn't she fun?  I have to tell you that I ordered on a Sunday and had my stamps on Saturday and they came from Canada!!  How is that for fast.  I order from he in the States and sometimes don't get stamps that fast.   Needless to say I will be ordering again.  Just a little note they come bare rubber.  I added teh foam backing and was ready to stamp.   Any way on to my card.  I made it for three challenges.  First is for Kraftin' Kimmmie Stamps!  to make a black and white card or a mostly black and white card.  I opted for the mostly black and white. the second challenge is for Copic Creations copic shading on your image or around you image or both!  Finally A Spoon Full of Sugar's challenge this week is Anything Goes, easy enough!

I have some exciting news to share with you soon. There is a little hint somewhere on my blog. ;-)  Thank you for stopping by.

Fall Memories GKD Challenge

Today I am sharing a couple of cards I made for Gina's Challenge to make a card inspired by a favorite Fall memory.  My First card is inspired  by one of my favorite trips to the pumpkin patch.  My son was getting close to not wanting to go to the patch with his parents anymore when the patch we would take him to added a Corn Maze.  We had so much fun that the next weekend when my Mom was visiting that we went back this time at night. There were four of us my DH, DS , my mom and myself. We decided that it would be fun to pair up boys against girls and race to the finish.  It was some of the most fun I have every had. We raced through the maze hiding on occasion to scare each other.  I wasn't the most successful as I kept getting a case of the giggles. Here is my card inspired by that fond memory.

Now considering that I was married in October I couldn't pass up that wonderful and happy memory, so I made a card for my hubby.

I rarely make CAS cards, but I have the base on my desk from a rejected card from a few days ago and decided to see if I could make something of it.  I wasn't sure how copics would color on kraft, but they did fine.  I like how the green leaves of the tree came out.  Over all I don't care that much for how it turned out, but we can't love them all can we.

Sail Boat

I am back with another card I made for multiple challenges.  I use a JustRite image that I stamped off from one of my mom's sets and colored with copics.  The first challenge is for JustRite called Glitter Magic.  I have a love hate relationship with glitter, I love the look but I end up with it everywhere and  it seems to show up in the strangest places over the next few days.  back to the card, I started by finding the DP from DCWV Citrus pack, it is cool and doesn't show in the photo too well but it has a glittery stripe in it.  Next I applied glue and glitter to the turquoise mat.  The second challenge is for Mojo Monday's sketch this week.  The next challenge is for Stampin' B's  to use a charm, it is kind of dark but there is a cute little sailboat charm hanging from the bow.  Finally one more for Speedy the Cat's challenge of five of something, I have five layers and five embellishments.  Thank you for stopping by.

Back To School

Hello I am back. Sorry for going MIA work has been insane this last week or so. Now that school has started and things are settling down I should have much more time to play in my stamping room.

Today I have a card/gift card holder that I made for the challenge this week on Stamp Something to make a back to school card.

Here is the card as it would look coming out of the envelope.

Here with the locker door open.
And finally here it is as the gift card would come out.
I used sporty Accessories from Gina K Designs and illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger.  I have had this set for some time now and hardly have used it.  I am not sure why , but it is a great set and it deserves more ink ;-).

I hope you are all having a fabulous week, the weather here is finally so beautiful that it is hard to go to work and stay indoors.
I would like to thank everyone for all of the support and kind words during my time as a challenge hostess for StampTV.  I loved every minute as a hostess.  If you haven't been over to StampTV to see the changes to the challenges  you should.  There are now only two challenges a week so it should be much easier to keep up.  Thank you much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful long weekend.
