Last Wednesday Gina posted a challenge on StampTV to make a card using colored pencils and OMS. Then on Friday Emily posted the Friday Potluck challenge also to use pencils and OMS, so I made this card to fit both challenges, easy peasy. I used to make a lot of cards using this technique until I got my copics, but sadly I have neglected them lately. I colored the tulips with koh-i-nor pencils and blended with OMS, then cut them our and inked with versamark and clear embossed them. The tulips are from A Year of Flowers from Gina K Designs and designed by Melanie Muenchinger. The vase is made from an oval cut out with nestabilities and then the top and bottom cut off. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Wassail collection, I used black for the mats and the card base is sahara sand. The card is a 5 X 5 square. Thank you for stopping by.Brenda

ReplyDeleteOh this is so awesome Brenda! I love those yellow tulips, used to have some in my yard years ago and this looks just like them! Love the matting you have done with the dp on this too!
