Have a Lovely Day

Well guess what I last night just before I went to bed I saw that Faith is hosting the sketch this week on SCS and it is a good one.  I knew right away that I wanted to make something using it, but I had to get to bed and work this morning so I couldn't get to it until tonight.  Boy it is hard to focus on things that you  have to do when all I wanted to do was head into my room and get inky. I am entering this into Speedy the Cat's challenge to make it sparkle and into Our Creative Corner to show your style.  Thank you for stopping by.

Clean and Simple Card

Today I have a card I made for today's clean and simple challenge on SCS to use red, black and white.  Before I checked out the challenge this morning I was already thinking of Friday's challenge on StampTV to case design team member AJ.  I have been a long time fan of AJ's work in fact I first starting following her work back when Unity first started.  AJ's style is very much CAS so I thought why not combine the tow challenges.  Here is the beautiful card of AJ's I picked.  I had to change at least two things I kept is very close to AJ's design and only changed the lower part and adding the small row of black rhinestones.  It was a super fast card to make.

I have to share that earlier today I was picked by the StampTV talent scout on Facebook.  I am super excited to have been chosen. I have a pretty new badge on my side bar with a  link to my StampTV gallery.  Thank you for stopping by.

Happiness

I am back with another card.  This one is for today's featured stamper on SCS, Claudia.  I choose this card to case.  The changed the papers and colored and then glittered the butterfly ootherwise it is a pretty straightforward case.  I am also entering this card into Speedy the Cat's challenge this week to make it sparkle.  I think that my missing mojo may have returned as I am finally feeling like making cards again.  I have another idea for a card for a few challenges that I hope to start on tonight and maybe if all goes as planned have it done tomorrow.  Thank you for stopping by.

CSS Treasure Chest Hop...... Let's Get Wordy

Hello and welcome to another StampTV CSS Treasure Chest Blog Hop.  You should have arrived from Carolina's  blog.  If not to start at the beginning go to Vicki's blog.  You can see the entire list of participants on StampTV.  I would hate for you to miss any of the beautiful creations that the CSS ladies have to share.

Tonight's Teasuire Chest challenge is Get Wordy.  To use a sentiment or quote as the main focal point.  I don't normally use sentiments or quotes as focal points so this one had me stumped for a bit.  Then the other night as I was falling off to sleep it hit me and I knew what I wanted to do.  I had a hard time not getting up right then and making the card, but as I had to get up early I waiting until the next night.   Have you every been to the site Wordle?  It is a cool site where you can type in text and it will jumble it up in a cool way.  I wanted to recreate a wordle of sorts and decided on a thank you theme.  I picked out a bunch of sentiments and got busy.  Here is the result.

This was so fun to make, now I want to make one with birthday wishes.  I will list all of the stamp sets (it was a lot) I used at the bottom of this post.  I am the last stop on the hop tonight I hope you have enjoyed all of the beautiful creations everyone had to share.  If you would like to join in this challenge we would love to see what you create so make sure to post it in the StampTV gallery and let us know about it in this thread on StampTV.

Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (June 28th), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs who will get a stamp set of their choice valued up to $24.95!
Thank you for stopping by.

Good Night Moon

Hello all I hope you are doing well.  I want to start off today saying thank you for all of the sweet and wonderful comments on my last card and a huge welcome to my newest followers.  I appreciate you all so much you help to inspire me to continue to create.  Speaking of being inspired I have been going through a big dry spell this last week which is way I haven't been here in a week.  I even was starting to think maybe it was time to walk away for a time and see if that helped.  But then I enjoy paper crafting so much I can't imagine my life without it.
Anyway I have been doing everything I could think of to get inspired, tonight I decided to stop over at SCS and the inspiration challenge had just been posted.  I went to take a look and see if anything hit me.  As soon as I opened up the Italian Pottery Outlet site I saw this little thumbnail and knew immediately what I wanted to make.  Here is the pottery pot that I used for my inspiration.

I used Hello Sunshine and Owl be There stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers to make this simple card.  I think it took me a total of 10 minutes to make.  Gotta love a fast and simple card. Thank you for stopping by.

CSS Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to another CSS DT Alumni  inspiration blog hop.  If you are unfamiliar with the CSS  DT Alumni blog hops, it is a group of ladies that have in the past been selected to be on Center Stage Spotlight for StampTV.  Today I am starting off the hop, if you get lost at anytime along the way you can go to StampTV and see the entire list of participants.  This month we have a fabulous photo that Carolina selected.  I love the bright and crisp clean lines.

Here is the beautiful inspiration photo.

I was so inspired by the red and white and the gorgeous sunflowers.  And here is the card I created.

I hope you enjoy the hop. The ladies in the CSS group are some of the most talented paper crafters I know.  So grab you favorite beverage and enjoy the hop.

Next up is the wonderfully creative Carolina.

Play along with us.....create a card or project using this inspiration image and then post it to the StampTV Forum on the blog hop thread - we'd love to see what you create!!!

I am also entering this card into a couple of challenges.  First is Vicki's Mix It Up Monday challenge on StampTV.  Vicki's challenge is to add texture to you creation.  Next I am entering it into Lawnscaping's Challenge to make a clean and simple card.

Flowers

First off I would like to apologize for my extended absence.  I have been super busy with the end of the school year.  I only have 7 more days until summer vacation.  I do have to work some during the summer, but I am lucky enough to pick when and how long.  I have to say I am looking forward to sleeping in and having my stamping time back. Okay enough of my blabbering you are here to see my card.  I made this one for several challenges listed below.  The one that got me started on this card was the one for Speedy The Cat's challenge to put a 3D flower on your creation.  For my flower I used three different sizes of marvy flower punches stacked them all together held  together with a brad  and them misted them with water and scrunched the petals up and waited for it to dry.  I was able to visit with my mom over the weekend and we played around with her stamps.  The leaves are from Mark's Finest Papers set Autumn Fun and the sentiment is from Natures Postage. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous rest of the week.
