Hello and Happy Memorial weekend to all in the US. I have a super short post for you this morning as my DH is taking me out to breakfast ans is waiting ever so patiently on me to get this posted. A few weeks back O bought some sticky back canvas ATC's and couldn't wait to try coloring with copics on it. It didn't come out as well as I had hoped, the copisc tend to bleed. After coloring the daffodils I was stumped on how tomake it into a card. So this image has been sitting on my craft table just waiting to be made into to something. For some reason in the photo I noticed that the pearls don't look straight, I assure you that they are. I managed to work in four challenges into this card which I have listed below. One of the challenges is a shabby chic card, well this is not my style and I really struggle with it. I am not so sure that this is very close at all, but it is what it is. I hope you have a fabulous weekend. Thank you for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteOh so pretty!... love the doily really sets the card!
ReplyDeleteBrenda this is so pretty!! I've not tried my Copics on the Sticky Back Canvas but before I paint on them I use Gesso to prep perhaps that would help. You need to let the Gesso dry thoroughly, I think they recommend 24 hours. I have some already prepped, I'll try it out and let you know this week!
ReplyDeleteTis gorgeous Brenda! I love the sticky back canvas too, but lik eyou said, the copics do bleed a bit, BUT, kinda gives it a water color effect at times! And I sure love how this turned out for you!
