Birthday Wishes
I made this for the monthly challenge at Gina K Designs. The June challenge is to make a background. I decided to break out my alcohol inks and make this background for a birthday card. I also used the ink to color Clear Dew Drops, sentiment stamps are from Lace Flowers and the stitched layer was cut using Master Layouts 2 all from Gina K Designs.

Hello
Hello,
Today I have a card I made using Gina K Designs stencil bundle Bold Flowers. This a bit out of my comfort zone for colors. I normally don't make blue flowers, but I am loving how this came out. I used snowfall stencil for the background.
Challenges:
Gina K Designs Monthly Mix Challenge- Make a floral stencil (or other stencil) background
Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge- Anything Goes

Sweet Friend
Hello,
Today I have a card I made for Make a Card Challenge. They have a sketch challenge this week and it was helpful to get me back in my room to play. I used Ruffled Flowers and Bold Flowers stencil bundles from Gina K Designs. I was also inspired by the background technique Gina demonstrated in a video recently. Such a fun way to make a quick background.

Happy Easter
Hello and happy Spring. I am in California and we are starting to see the signs of Spring everything is starting to bloom. Unfortunately we very much need more rain. At any rate I am enjoying the sun while hoping for some more rain before the heat cranks on.
Today I have an Easter card I made for this months challenge at Gina K Designs. The challenge this month is to create a masked blended sunrise. This is my take on it. I started with masking off a 1/4 inch boarder and blended from the bottom. Lucky Clover, Applemint, Lemon Drop, Sweet Mango, and Coral Reef. After removing the tape I stamped the daffodils and sentiment from Easter Blessings. I finished up with cutting my layers with Master Layouts 1. All products are from Gina K Designs.

Hello,
I wanted to try making a one layer card that still had the look of a layered card. The top panel is inset into the bottom layer which is the negative form the die cut. It still needed a back though for support.
I used Gina K Designs Flower Child, A Little Love bundle, and master layouts 3 and 4.

On My Mind
I played a little today and whipped up this card using Gina K Designs Better Together stamp set and some ink blending. I love this color combo, it is so peaceful. I also used Master Layouts 2 and 4. These dies sets are the bomb and make layering card panels so easy.

Valentine's Gift Bag
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope all is well with you. I have a couple of gift bags I made for my son and DIL. They love extra dark chocolate (as do I) so I wanted to give them a little treat for tomorrow. I made these bags and filled them with their favorite chocolates.
I used the bag gift bag folding board from We Are Memory Makers for the bag it self. The heart and love dies are cut using Gina K Designs Master Layouts 4 The stamped heart is also Gina K Designs from A Little Love set. A few weeks ago Gina did a video using smalls strips of paper to make the background in a die cut image and she mentioned you could also use washi tape. Well I am embarrassed to admit I have a bit more than a small amount of washi tape that I almost never use. Today was the time to pull it out. I really enjoyed using it this way.
I will be entering this into the Monthly challenge at Gina K Designs, Love is in the Air.
I hope you all have a wonderful and special day.
Stay safe my friends and thank you for stopping by,
Brenda

Fall Birthday
Hello, Today I have a card I made for a masculine birthday. As that is it for a fall birthday I wanted to use more fall type colors. I was a little stumped for an idea so I went way back in my SpiltCoast Stampers gallery and found a card I made for a female using Unity stamps and cased myself. I had fun doing this and I think I will visit my stamping past more often when needing a little creative boost. It is also a neat way to improve on a style or technique from the past. I used two stamps sets from Gina K Designs The Best Flowers for the sentiment and Autumn Silhouettes for the leaves. This color combo is one of my favorites. As I was using them I realized they are have food names, hmm maybe there is a connection with my love of food. The colors are cherry red, honey mustard and chocolate brown. The card stock and inks are also Gina K Designs. I also used the middle sized tag die from the latest kit from Gina. The card base and tag are ivory which is also a favorite of mine for fall cards.

Christmas Tag
My first card using the new Sparkle and Shine kit from Gina K Designs. This is a huge kit and has so many wonder stamps and dies. This is for Gina K Designs monthly challenge to use a tag on a card and a color challenge of red and white. The card stock is cherry red that I ink blended chocolate brown to give depth. This is a trick I picked up from Mindy Eggen. She has a great video Here. I need to practice, but really love the look.
