A card I made for Power Poppy's Power and Spark Challenge. February's theme is The Sky is the Limit. You are to use the photo provided or one of your own of the sky and use it as you inspiration. I decided to take my own photo and use it.
I am lucky to live very close to the Pacific Ocean in Northern California. I took this photo Saturday night about a mile north of my home. Coming in from the left is where a river flows into the ocean. It was a beautiful day here and with just a few clouds so I knew it would make for a spectacular sunset. Back to my card. I was inspired by the gorgeous yellow in the photo and the soft gray. So I used those colors to create a very spring like card. The stamps are from Power Poppy's set Azalea.
Thank you for stopping by,
Brenda

Beautiful view, beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS creation and GORGEOUS inspiration! You are lucky to live so close to the ocean. I pine for it some days! Thanks so much Brenda for sharing your creativity with the Power & Spark Challenge! Your card is beautiful (as usual!!) :-)
ReplyDeleteYellow is one of my favorite colors and it looks so beautiful on your card! Such a pretty vase of azaleas and, yes, so spring-like. I live on the southern Oregon coast near scenes very much like this. You took a gorgeous sunset shot. It's lovely to see your card in our Power & Spark Challenge!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty and has definitely put me in the mood for spring! Yes you are lucky to live so close to the ocean. I lived in California for most of my life but am now living and stamping in Oklahoma.
