Coffee...
Today I have a card I made for Art Impressions current challenge, Java Love. I used Cathy Caffeine set colored with copics. The tab at the tops was made using a punch board. I off set the green so that it would create the space for sentiment to show.
Thank you for stopping by.

Glad to Know You
Hello today I have a card I made for Power Poppy's Peep of the Week challenge.
I used Power Poppy's Dynamic Duo Glads and Gerberas for the image and the sentiment. The glads are colored with copics. I wanted a classic and simple design so the image could pop.
Thank you for stopping by.

Hot Java
Hello, today I have a card I made for Art Impressions latest challenge which happens to be their 150th challenge! The challenge is to use something new or a new technique.
My new item is Cathy Caffeine stamp set. I purchased it during Christmas and never had time to use it until now. Isn't this set fabulous?
Thank you for stopping by.

Together Forever
It is Unity's Friends With Flair time again.
I used ...The Best Love Story from Unity. After stamping the heart I fussy cut it out and added it to the background. For the background it is another one of the watercolor backgrounds I made. I told you I was enjoying making them and had some ready to go. The sentiment is stamped right on top of the water coloring.

Thanks So Much
Today I have a card I made for Power Poppy's Peep Of The Week Challenge. Here is my card.
I tried a new technique for this card and I have to say I am having a ton of fun with it. What technique you ask? It is making your own watercolor background. I have played around a few times in the past, but didn't like how they came out until now. It is easy and fun! I started with wetting watercolor paper, then I smushed green watercolor paint around leaving some areas lighter and some darker. There is not wrong way to do it. I don't have a lot of patience waiting for the paper to dry so I hit it with my heat gun before splattering some green and purple watercolor paint. After drying it again with a heat gun all I had to do was trim it to fit the card base. I am happy with how it came out. I now have several backgrounds on my desk waiting to be made into cards. For the image I used my newest Power Poppy Set Dynamic Duos: Glads and Gerberas. Marcella Hawley is an amazing artist and I am a huge fan of hers. If you have been to her store yet it is a must see. I can guarantee you will find many sets you will need in your collection.
Thank you for stopping by.

Friends With Flair
Hello and Happy New Year. Today I have a card I made for Unity's Friends With Flair. I decided to go with a thank you card as I am needing several of them.
I stamped three of the snowflakes from ...Like A Snowflake December sentiment set in three shades of blue to create the background layer. Then I topped it of with the sentiment from the same set. To finish it off I layered both with navy blue card stock. Lastly I decided to add a few small dots of blue to fill in the white areas.
Thank you for stopping by.
