After having the last two weeks off we are back this week with a new challenge for
The Cuttlebug Spot. The challenge is to use your favorite embossing technique. I choose as a favorite (and it was hard as there are so many techniques that I love) partial cuttlebug embossing. I used a new Basic Grey embossing folder by Sizzix called snow globe. I turned the folder sidways and embossed the top. I then stamped the sentiment using a stamp positioner. To get the embossed lines I lightly embossed on the top using my Scor Buddy and then turned over the card stock and lined the embossed line up with one of the grooves in the Scor Buddy and this time scored normally. The final step was to emboss the small section on the bottom and I again put the folder on the side. I really wanted a clean and simple card and this is it. I matted the embossed layer on gold and black with a base of white. I could re create this card in about 5 minutes.
