Blue Angel

Hello and Happy Monday!!  I am excited to say that a few weeks back I was ask to be a guest designer for Through The Craftroom Door Challenge.  Of course I said yes!!  I love their challenge and enjoy playing along.  The design team is uber talented and they always offer up such beautiful inspiration.  The challenge is Anything Goes!!  How cool it that?  I want to thank Sandi and the rest for the design team for choosing me for this opportunity to be their guest designer. 

I was provided with a beautiful image Charity Angel from Michelle Perkett Studios to work with.  Oh I did have fun coloring her.

To give her more of an angelic look I desided to add feathers behind her.  I also used a glitter pen to add some sparkle to her halo, wings and details on her dress.  Make sure to check out the design teams gorgeous creations and all the details of the challenge.  I hope you can play along.  Thank you for stopping by.

Life of the Party

Happy Monday!!  It is time for another challenge for the Greetings Card Challenge at The Outlawz.  this week the challenge is Bring on the Bling!!  How doesn't love some bling?

 

I used A List Star from the February release from Whimsy Stamps.  Isn't she gorgeous?  So much fun to color and then jazz up the card.  I will also be entering this card into the following challenges.

Just Because....

Hello and Happy Thursday!  Today I have a card to share that I made for Flourishes Love Letters challenge.  That is the challenge to be inspired by love.  This is what I came up with.

 I use Inside and Out Just Believe from Flourishes.  I kept the card simple and it was a quick one to put together.  I like making a fast ans simple card once in a while.  I am also entering this into the following challenge.

Some exciting news....

Hello I hope you are had a wonderful weekend. It has been quite here and that is just what I needed. So I have some news to share with you. I have been published in Through The Craftroom Door!!! This is my first time being published and I have two cards in the latest issue. I subcribed to the magazine a couple of months ago and I have to say it is a wonderful magazine full of gorgeous creations and tutorials. If you don't already subscribe I highly recommend that you do. Here is a wonderful video that Jo Hamm made giving some peeks at the current issue. If you look real close at around one minute you will get a peek at one of my cards.

Back To School

Hello I hope all is well with all of you. Sorry that I went MIA again, I have been busy and not feeling very crafty lately. I do have my card for this weeks challenge for The Outlawz Greeting Card. This week the challenge is back to school. Here is my card.

I used Basket Additions 3 from Gina K Designs. This is another add on set from Melanie Muenchinger. I hope you can play along with us this week. I am also entering this car into the challenge for Through The Craftroom Door, which also is back to school. And finally I am entering this into Use It Tuesday's challenge, All About School, where you are also required to use some hoarded supplies. The ribbon on here is some that I have had a very long time and never used. I hope to get some cards made this week to share with you, but I will for sure have a card on Friday for the next CSS blog hop. Now off to make that card! Thank you for stopping by.

Time to Twinkle

Hello Happy Sunday!! I have a card to share today that I made for the challenge at Through The Craftroom Door. The challenge is Anything goes with a twist. White with two other colors. I picked red and black for my two other colors.

The image is from Kraftin Kimmie's last release called Marilyn. As soon as I saw this stamp I knew I had to have it as I thought it would be so fun to color and I was right. I had a blast making this card. I colored her with copics and after cutting her out I sponged with Memento gray flannel.
