Miss You Much

A card I made for Power Poppy's Power and Spark Challenge.  February's theme is The Sky is the Limit.  You are to use the photo provided or one of your own of the sky and use it as you inspiration.  I decided to take my own photo and use it.

I am lucky to live very close to the Pacific Ocean in Northern California.  I took this photo Saturday night about a mile north of my home.  Coming in from the left is where a river flows into the ocean.  It was a beautiful day here and with just a few clouds so I knew it would make for a spectacular sunset.  Back to my card.  I was inspired by the gorgeous yellow in the photo and the soft gray.  So I used those colors to create a very spring like card.  The stamps are from Power Poppy's set Azalea.

Happy Wishes

I made this card for two challenges: Landscaping Challenge celebrating their 100th challenge with a birthday theme challenge and Simon Says Wednesday challenge to add texture.  For texture I added a cork mat behind the main lanterns.  The stamps are Lunar Lights from Lawn Fawn.

Dream Big

A card I made for Unity Be Inspired Challenge.  I went with the colors and sketch for this challenge.  I love these colors together and wanted to try them with watercolors.  The white dots were made with a Pitt Pen.  It was a super easy to make the background, the hardest part was drying as I don't like to wait for things to dry.  You can't tell by the photo, but I added some glitter to the wings.  I used Itty Bitty Dream Big for the butterflies and sentiment.   I am also entering this card into CAS-ual Friday's current challenge, watercolors and clean and simple.
Thank you for stopping by.
