Repeat Impressions Designer's Choice Challenge~Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty

Hello it is time for another Designer's Choice challenge with Repeat Impressions.  This time it is Cheri's turn and her challenge it Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty.  There are so many wonderful cat stamps at Repeat Impressions.  Here is my card.

 

I picked #4206 Kisa for my card.  Isn't that a sweet face?  I colored with pencils for a change and I am pleased how it turned out.  I rarely use them anymore and it is a refreshing change when I do.  I knew I wanted to have a blue eyed cat and for me I felt that I needed color the cat gray.  Which is how I picked the colors to use for my card.  I had some fun playing around with the layout and mixing patterned papers.

What If? Wednesdays with Repeat Impressions

Hello and Happy Hump Day!!  I love the camel commercial.  If you haven't seen it yet here is a link. Anyway it is Wednesday and it has been two weeks since the last sketch challenge With Repeat Impressions.  Once again Wendy has a fabulous sketch.

Here is my take on the sketch.

I used #9204 Water Lilies and Dragonflies for my focal image.  I love the peaceful feel of this stamp. I keep the card pretty simple and for the corner accent in the upper right corner I used #102 Dragonfly.  Both images are colored with copic markers.  Sorry of lost track of which ones I used in the mess of my craft desk.

Repeat Impressions Designer's Choice Challenge~Sweet Treats

Hello it is time for another Designer's Choice challenge with Repeat Impressions.  This week Melissa has picked Sweet Treats.  What's not to love about that?  I took a little different take on "sweet".  I could have went with the obvious choice of something sugary. However in light of all the goodies that can be consumed over the holidays I went with a bit healthier "sweet".

 

I used #9010 Watermelon and #9007 Sweet Things from the Summer Collection.  This is a new set for me and I have to say I am very ready and looking forward to making Spring and Summer cards using this set.  I guess that means I am over Christmas and winter cards.

Repeat Impressions New Release Blog Hop

Hello I am so very excited to that there is a new stamp set being released from Repeat Impressions.  It is called Quilting and Stained Glass and it is FABULOUS!!!  I think you will love this one as much as I did.  Now it is time for some fun. You have a chance to win the entire set by playing our word game!!!

I enjoyed making this card so much.  It was a nice change to create a more of a spring themed card.  Even though winter here has been unseasonably mild the beginning of spring is always refreshing for me and I am looking forward to it.  Okay enough of my blabbing and on to my card.  I used #904 Daffodils and #1143 Thank You for the sentiment.   I also picked up a few new dies last week and this pretty Spellbinders flourish was one of them.  It is called Fantastic Flourish One. Repeat Impressions Designer's Choice Challenge~New Year, Something New to You

Hello it is time for another Designer's Choice challenge with Repeat Impressions.  This week Geri has picked a New Year, Something New to You.  Great challenge for the first day of 2014!!

My new items on my card are: #211 Chickadee at Rest and Timeless Rectangles from Spellbinders.  I also tried something new I had seen done on Pinterest to make a birds nest out of some jute and pearls.  I really enjoyed making this card.  With the holidays I had been making more CAS cards and hadn't colored any images is awhile and this was such a fun image to color.
