Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge~ Happy Fall Y'All

Hello it is time for another Designers Choice Challenge with Repeat Impressions.  It is my turn for to come up with the challenge and I picked Happy Fall Y'All.  Now that Fall is upon us it is time to get going on some of those fun fall cards.
Here is my card.

I used 3309-K, Scarecrow & Friend for my card.  This little guy is such a cutie and fun to work with. The image is stamped on ivory card stock.  After coloring the image with copics I sponged the background lightly.  I hope you an play along with our challenge and don't forget there is a chance to win!  You can find all the details and the fabulous creations from the rest of the RI Rock Stars at The House That Stamps Built.  Thank you for stopping by.

What if? Wednesday with Repeat Impressions

Hello it is time for another sketch from Repeat Impressions.  Here is the fun sketch.
I am ready for fall and Halloween cards so I created this Halloween card.
I kept my card simple.  It was a very quick card to put together.  I started with some ivory card stock and stamped Halloween Cobweb sentiment on it.  I then sponged with Memento gray flannel ink to give it a creepy dark look.  The embossed panel is black card stock that I ran through my cuttlebug with a Tim Holtz cobweb folder.  With my finger I took a little white craft ink and brushed over the raised cobweb.  Now head over to  the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built for all of the details of this sketch challenge and make sure you check out the fabulous cards from the rest of the design team.   Thank you for stopping by.

Repeat Impressions Designers Choice Challenge~Food Happy

Hello it is time for another Designer's Choice Challenge with Repeat Impressions.  This time Cheri is challenging us with Food Happy.  What a great challenge and so many ways you can go with it.  I went with Peaches for my card.

I have been a little hooked on peach cobbler this summer.  Okay maybe more than a little hooked.  With the peaches being so delicious this summer it has been hard to resist.  I love this beautiful image and enjoyed coloring it with Prismacolor pencils.  You can get all the details of the challenge on the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.   Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams lovely creations.

Magic Mondays with Repeat Impressions

Hello I am so excited to share with you something new from Repeat Impressions.
Starting today and every Monday one of the design team members will share a special project or card with you on The Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.  So without further ado....I have my project to share with you on our very first Project of the Week.  Many of you may already know that I love to make fall themed cards and 3D projects so I am leading off with a Fall themed gift box.
I started with THIS tutorial on SplitCoast Stampers for making a note card box.  As it turns out the finished box perfectly holds and whole bag of Ghiradelli chocolate squares.  I used Repeat Impressions Sunflower 4313-K It is a sunflower on s stem with leaves.  It is a great stamp.  However I wanted to show how you can use a stamp in different ways.  I started by stamping the entire image and coloring the flower and leaves three times.  I then cut out the flower and leaves.  I like to take a black marker and go along the cut edge so that the white doesn't show.  I then arranged my cut pieces on a small square of burlap with a little twine to create a focal point for the top of my box.  The band is a piece of 2" x 6 1/4' card stock that I ran through a crimper.  I used my trusty Scor Pal to create the folds for my box. I love my Scor Pal and it is used on 99.9% of the cards and projects I use.  Confession time: I have two of the 12 x 12 ones and a Scor Buddy. Here is a little tip: When using one sided patterned paper or paper with a white core lightly mist the paper with water before making your creases.  This will allow the paper to soften and thus not crack when folded.  And yes learned this the hard way.

Here are a couple more photos of the completed box.
