Hello I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend some time with your families. I have been enjoying spending time with my family which is why I haven't been posting here this last week. This week at The Outlawz Greeting Card we card challenging you to make it vintage. Now Vintage is something I am not comfortable with so this was a true challenge for me.
Here is my card,
I used Timeless Treasures from Gina K Designs. This set is now retired, but if you are quick there is a sale that ends at Midnight on this set and others wonderful sets that are retiring. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Espresso Truffle then I stamped the image in Rich Cocoa that I had stamped off one time.
I wish you a very Happy New Year!!!!!
Thank you for stopping by.

Celebrate The Season
Hello, I hope all is well with you and that the holidays are going well. Even though it is a busy time of year I love every minute of it. As I am typing this my 22 year old son and a couple of his friends are decorating sugar cookies. They are making a huge mess, but having a blast! I keep smiling and laughing at all their antics. This is a wonderful time and life is good!
Edited to add: They cleaned up the whole mess. :-)
So on to my project.
I made this for two challenge, first for my dt spot at The Outlawz Monday Greetings Card. This week we are keeping is simple and the challenge is Anything Goes! Next I am entering this ornament into Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge. Their challenge is to make an ornament or 3D project that is decorated on a Christmas tree. I used the sentiment from Trimmed with Love from Flourishes. The poinsettias and ornament are made with a Spellbinders die. I really had a lot of fun with this ornament and hope to make many more. The nice thing about this is that it could be used for a gift tag and then double as an ornament. Thank you so much for stopping by.

StampTV CSS December Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to the December StampTV CSS Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Betty's beautiful blog. If not you can start at the beginning on StampTV. This month Linda Payne is challenging us to make card or project using this color challenge; Non-traditional Christmas colors with absolutely no red or green. This was a bit of a challenge for me. I kept trying to slip a little red or green in. I do have a few projects to share today.
First off this ivory and gold card. Using one of the sentiments from Joyful Holiday. The poinsettia is made with a spellbinders die that I sponged lightly with memento desert sand and then added some stickles.
Next I have been seeing projects made using the chalkboard technique and I wanted to give it a try. So I created some gift tags using stamps from Joyful Holiday, Festive Frame, Holiday Tags and The Giving Tree.
I used some very cool chalkboard sticker paper that I got on clearance at Michaels last year. I stamped the images with colorbox frost white ink and let it dry for a bit. It was still very wet so I very carefully dabbed the excess ink off with a tissue. Before removing the paper from the spellbinders die I traced around the inside with a white gel pen. This was a fun technique and I will be making more tags for Christmas.
Finally I have a tag I made for a challenge that Sean hosted a few weeks back on StampTV and it just happens to fit this challenge.
For this tag I used the emboss resist technique to create the background. The tree and snow bank are free hand cut with stickles added to the edges. The sentiment is from Joyful Holiday.
Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Friday morning (December 21), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!
Your next stop on the hop is Cheri's blog where she will have a gorgeous creation for you to enjoy.
Thank you for stopping by.

Merry Christmas
Hello I hope you had a great weekend. I was able to get most of my Christmas shopping done. Now I have to get started on wrapping them and finish up some Christmas cards. I have a Christmas tag to share today.
I started out with a piece of ivory card stock that I stamped with background stamp. Next I clear embossed the snowflakes. After that I sponged the whole piece with rich cocoa memento ink. I free hand cut the triangle for the tree and the snow banks. I sponged them lightly with desert sand memento ink and added a fine line of stickles to the edges. To finish I used as nestabilities die to get the top edge and then I added the ribbon, twine and bells. I will be entering this tag into the following challenges.
StampTV Mix it up Monday; Warm Colors and Warm Wishes (this one is now closed, sorry)
Ribbon Carousal Challenge: The Holidays (must use ribbon or twine)
Simon Says Stamps Challenge: Snowflakes
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: Anything but a card
Just Us Girls: Use embossing dry or wet

Just Because
Hello and Happy Monday! Today I have the card I made for this weeks Greeting Card Challenge at The Outlawz. This weeks challenge is The Eye's Have it! Incorporate "Eyelets" in your design or use an image in which the eyes are the Focal Point.
I used Trouble by Kenny K. and from Whimsy Stamps. Isn't she awesome? I just love her expression and attitude. She is colored with copics. As for eyelets I have to confess I have a lot of them. They were all the rage when I started stamping and so I made it my mission to get as many of them as I could. Now I have a ton of them and almost never use them. Hopefully now I will use them more often. I should have several posts this week with the new digi release and challenge for Whimsy Stamps. I hope you have a wonderful week and thank you for stopping by.

Whimsy Stamps Info
Hello and Happy Saturday. Normally I would have a post today showing a card I made for the December digital release for Whimsy Stamps. There will be a delay this month. Here is the statement explaining the delay.
To Our Valued Customers and Friends:
Over the past week some of you may have noticed intermittent problems with our website resulting in loss of carts, log in problems, and security errors. We apologize for any frustration this may have caused.
During our attempts to diagnose and correct the issues, we have discovered some problems with our current hosting provider and their servers. In an effort to serve our customers better, we have made the decision to switch providers and move our shop to new servers.
This change/move will require our site to be shut down for a number of hours this weekend. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This change will also result in a delay of our regularly scheduled monthly digital release. But as soon as we are back up and running as normal we will release all the fabulous new images...including those from our brand new digital artist Marika Collins!
Our goal is to provide our customers with the best quality of service possible. We thank you for your patience at this time. We will make every effort to have this transition go as smoothly and as quickly as possible. Thank you for your continued support of Whimsy Stamps and our artists!
Have a great weekend!
I hope you will come back and check out the new release after the store is back up and running better than ever. :) The new release is awesome there are so many images that I love, I just wish I had enough hours in the day to make something with them all to share with you.
Is anyone else having issues with blogger? It has been giving me fits the last two days. Hopefully Google with get it all worked out soon.
