Hello for today's card I have one that I made for Mix It Up Monday at StampTV. This week my friend Cheri is the hostess. Cheri came up with a wonderful challenge to Make It A Double. To use one stamp to create your background and then use it for your main image. The only other stamp you can use is a sentiment. Here is my card.
I started by using watercolors that i swiped across the paper. Then I stamped the image and sentiment. I finished up by randomly stamping the background layer. The stamp and sentiment are from Heartfelt from Gina K Designs and illustrated by Theresa Momber. Thank you for stopping by.

A Happy Hello
Sunday, July 29, 2012
Cheers!
Hello I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Well it is Monday so that means it is time for another Greeting Card Challenge over at The Outlwaz. This weeks challenge is Chillers, Show us how you chill out in the summer heat. One of my favorite ways to keep cool is to drink something nice and cold so I picked a drink image for my card.
I used two sets from Gina K Designs that Theresa Momber illustrated call Sweet Strawberries and Aloha. I colored the drink with copics and then mask it and sponged the sky, water and sand in with Memenot inks. Now head over to The Outlawz and check all the details and the gorgeous cards from the rest of the design team. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic week.

"She Made The Cover"
Hello and Happy Wednesday!
I have a card I made for the challenge at Art Impressions to make an easel card. I am getting this on in just under the wire.
A few weeks ago I bought this stamp, I love it, as I find it so funny. I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder on some of his red Kraft-Core paper then I sanded it to get the look of chicken wire. Here is a shot of the front close up.
This was such a fun card to make. Don't you love that when you have an idea and it works out the way you planned and had fun to. I make is sound like I don't enjoy card making normally, but the truth is I love it. I have been struggling with creativity a little lately so it was nice to have this one come together so easily. Thank you for stopping by.

The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge~Dog Days of Summer
Hello I hope you are having a wonderful week. I am a little behind getting this post up, as usual. The challenge this week for The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge is Dog Days of Summer, You may use dogs, or another idea could be an apology card. Here is my card.
This cutie is from a set from Michaels and is colored with copics. The paper is from Basic Grey Max and Whiskers. The charm is one I found in the bridal dept. I thought it worked perfect to look like a dog tag. I love it when I can find the perfect embellishment. I hope you can play along. Thank you for stopping by.

StampTV CSS July Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to another StampTV CSS blog Hop. You should have arrived from the very talented Betty's blog. If you get lost along the way you can get the complete blog hop list at StampTV.
This month Melissa provide us with this wonderful sketch.
I was so inspired by this sketch that I made three cards. I
also have new Gina K Stamps in the house that I have not been able to
play with. For my first two cards I used Theresa's newest set Tropical Nature.
For my last card I stepped away from the tropical theme and used Melanie's newest set Pretty Patterns and the sentiment from Whimsical Wishes. If you look closely at the second card you will notice that I used Pretty Patterns on it as well.
Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (July 17), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps! Good Luck!!
Your next stop is the incredibly talented Cheri. Thank you for stopping by.

The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge~Christmas in July
This week our challenge at The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge is a Recipe Challenge to make a Christmas card that is shaped (not square). I decided to make an ornament card that could be hung on the Christmas tree.
I used Mountain Lily from Whimsy Stamps and colored her in Christmas colors. Then I cut out with the largest spellbinders circle. Next I folded a piece of card stock and cut it out of the next size down leaving the folded edge just inside of the circle so that it would not be cut. I mounted the main image on a scallop. Before mounting the image on the card base I created the tab for hanging and tied a bow on it. This month there is a great prize from Tami Mayberry. Now head over to The Outlawz Greeting Card Challenge and check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the team. I hope to see you there. Thank you for stopping by.
