For this weeks Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge Linda challenges us to use scraps only. Well I have tons of them. Picked to use only card stock scraps as that is what I have the most of. Everything on this card including the base is from scraps. The image is from Mark's Finest Papers set Country Thanksgiving and is one I had colored and set aside having not used it as I had originally intended.
This is a great challenge to use up some of the scarps we all have. I hope you can play along this week. If you do you will have a chance at winning at stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers. If you use a stamp from Mark's Finest Papers you will get you name in twice, how cool it that.
Be on the look out in the next few days I will be having some blog candy.
Good luck and thank you for stopping by.
I am also entering this card into Simon Says Challenge-Anything Goes.

Think Pink!
A few days ago I made this card for Emily release challenge on StampTV. Emily challenge was to use pink, easy enough. I also used the sketch for CPS this week.
I love these cone flowers from Theresa's set Heartfelt. They are so fun to color. The paper is from Basic Grey's Urban Prairie. Thank you for stopping by.

Speedy The Cat's Friends Challenge- 12 Days of Christmas
Hello it is time for another challenge from Speedy The Cat's Friends Challenge. This week we are joining in on the 12 Days of Christmas Hop that Mark's Finest Papers is having. For my project I chose to do an acetate box. I had one on hand that I had bought a few years ago and used it.
This is super simple and quick to make. I took a strip of card stock that was 12 inches long and then wrapped it around the box to get where I needed to score for the folds. I wrapped that with some jute ribbon. For the focal piece I used this wonderful winter scene from Christmas in the Country from Mark's Finest Papers. I colored with copics and then sponged in the sky. I finished up by matting it and then attaching it to the band.
I hope you can play along with us this week. One person will win a stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers and if you use a stamp from Mark's Finest Papers you will get your name put in twice. Thank you for stopping by.

Country Christmas
Hello I hope you week is going well. I have a card I made last night. As soon as the sketch was posted on SCS I looked and knew right away the card I wanted to make. So I stayed up late and whipped this up.
I used Christmas in the Country from Mark's Finest Paper's. Then I colored with copics and accented the with stickles. The sky background is sponged with memento summer sky. Thank you for stopping by and have a great rest of the week.

I have my first cold of the season so I am going to keep this short. I hope you play along with us this week. If you do you have a chance at winning a set from Mark's Finest Paper's and if you use a Mark's Finest Papers stamp you get your name in twice. Good luck and thank you for stopping by.

Mark’s Finest Papers
For my first card I used Christmas in the Country. I love this set and am very please with how easy it is to color. I colored the church with copics and then sponged the sky with summer sky memento ink and the ground with desert sand. It is a bit hard to tell in the photo, but the image is matted on navy and silver card stock.
Next I have a card using Snowball. Snowball is such a fun set with cute images and fun sentiments. I picked this adorable penguin for my card. For the background I embossed light blue card stock with a sizzix folder and then with a white paint dabber I highlighted the snowflakes. The snow drifts are just torn paper and accented with stickles.
Good luck and thank you for stopping by.

Speedy The Cat's Friends Challenge - Week#76 No Designer Paper
Hello and welcome to this weeks Speedy The Cat's Friends Challenge, this Linda is challenge us to not use any designer paper. For those of you who know me already know I love designer paper, and rarely make a card without it. I always admire all of the fabulous all white cards so I gave it a try and almost made. I had to stick a very thin gray mat on mine. I am really pleased with how this one came out. The best part is the fun surprise sentiment on the inside.
This is a new set from Mark's Finest Papers called Snowball that will be available next Tuesday. Be sure to check out the rest of the wonderful creations from the design team.
I hope you can play along this week with us at Speedy The Cat's Friends challenge. You may just win a stamp set!! And if you use a Mark's Finest Paper's stamp you will be entered into the drawing twice. Good luck.
