I was so excited this morning when I stopped by SCS to see who was the featured stamper for todays featured stamper challenge. It is Sue Walsh (aka Tillymint). Congratulations Sue!!! Sue is a fabulous stamper that I met through StampTV nearly two years ago. So I quickly got to work on my DT work I had to do so I would have time to play along. Here is my card.
And here is Sue's beautiful card I choose to case.
The things I changed are the image, sentiment, embossing folder, omitted the twine, I didn't use glitter and I added layers. I had fun with this card. Thank you Sue for all of the gorgeous inspiration.
I am also entering this card into Mark's Finest Papers to make a valentine card. Also into Creative Belli Challenge, their challenge this week is the letter "P". I used pink flowers and a pearl brad for me "P" embellies. And finally I am entering this card into the copic/promarkers challenge on the new Outlawz site. If you haven't checked it out yet is a wonderful new site. I hope to see you there. Thank you for stopping by.

Beautiful!
Hello today I have a card I made for this weeks challenge for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. The challenge is Fairytales. These stamps are so fun to color. This card is also for today's Free For All challenge on SCS. Today is Warm and Fuzzy, to use at least one warm color and something fuzzy. Well red is about as warm as you can get. For the fuzzy I have the tulle running down the right side. I am discovering I love using this wonderful fiber, but it is very difficult to photograph. The photo doesn't do this card justice. I had a hard time with the lighting today. Thank you for stopping by.
Card Details
Stamps: Snow White- Kraftin' Kimmie
Paper: pure luxury rocket red, Basic Grey Sugar Rush
Ink: memento tuxedo black, lady bug
Copics: See photo below
Other: cuttlebug, nestabilites, prima flowers, brad, tulle

The Cuttlebug Spot - Inspired by a Magazine Ad
Hello today the challenge for The Cuttlebug Spot is the be inspired by a magazine ad. I had a bit of a hard time with this one as I don't really every read any magazines, except of course card making magazines. Oh that the ticket for me so I went to my trusted and beloved stack of card magazines and found a Paper Crafts and with out even opening it up I found my ad. It was on the back cover, it is an ad for Doodlebug
Design Inc
I was inspired by the colors, the heart theme and the clean crisp look. I also liked the card on the bottom shelf on the left.
Here is the ad
I hope you can play along this week and be sure to check out the rest of the design teams amazing creations and all of the challenge details over at The Cuttlebug Spot. Thank you for stopping by.

Oldies But Goodies Design Diva Blog Hop
Hello I am part of a group on Facebook called Design Divas. It is a group of some very talented stampers and today we are having a blog hop. The only requirement was to use something that is at least six months old. I picked a set from My Favorite Things called Tea For Two. I have had this set for about two years and hadn't used it in a long time.
You should have found your way from Theresa. Your next stop on the hop is Nina. If you get lost the hop starts on Sue's blog.
I also used the sketch this week from Card Patterns.

Hello I am back today with a card for The Cuttlebug Spot. This week the challenge is to do a project using a childrens game as our inspiration. I love inspiration challenges so this was a fun one for me. I choose the board game Sorry. I used the bright bold colors and the kind of four square disign of the board for my inspiration. The Cuttlebug Spot - Inspired by a Song
This week at The Cuttlebug Spot we are inspired by songs. I love all types of music and the other day when I was heading into town to so dome craft supply shopping I was listening to the radio and one of my favorite songs came on and I knew right then what I would do for my card. The song is by Plain White T's and is called The Rhythm of Love. Here is the card I created.
On that trip into shop I picked up some gorgeous paper from Echo Park, Be Mine. While at my LSS one of the wonderful ladies, Amy, had done some totally gorgeous cards with this same paper and she had used some black tulle. Well I loved it and had to work some into my card. So now head over to The Cuttlebug Spot and check out the beautiful creations form the rest of the team. I hope you have time to play along.
For those of you who are regular readers of my blog know by now that I love to do challenges and sadly this last week I didn't have the time to do any. So I worked in a few into this card. First Just Us Girls challenge this week is to make a matching envelope and line it. Here is a photo of my card with the envelope.
The next challenge is for Simon Says, New Beginnings my card is for new love. Next is Mark's Finest Papers, Speedy the Cat's challenge to use embossing. Then there is Stampin' B's challenge, something old (embossing folder) and something new (paper). And now for the last challenge Moxie Fab World's challenge, Gray is the new Black. I really liked this challenge as I love the color combo of pink, black and gray. Overall I love this card and I rarely say that.
Finally before I go I would like to say I am sorry that I didn't get anything posted all week. I decided to reorganize my craft room and oh what a mess I had. Happily things are coming together and I can create again. Thank you for sticking around to the end of this very long post.

The Cuttlebug Spot Inspired by a Book
Today the design team from The Cuttlebug Spot is back with a new challenge. This week it is Inspired by a Book. I choose The Giving Tree for my inspiration. I remember reading this book to my son when he was young. I was moved by the touching story each and every time I read it to him. I used the cover of the book to inspire me for my card.
Here is the cover:
And here is the card I made:
I used The Giving Tree by Gina K Designs and illustrated by Theresa Momber. I stamped the tree trunk first and then added the leaves. Next I inked the apple stamp with versamark and the memento markers. I finished up the main panel by sponging the green background.
Now head over to The Cuttlebug Spot to check out the gorgeous creations the rest of the design team has to show you.
Thank you for stopping by.

Stardust Thank You
Hello today I have one last card for the countdown challenges on StampTV. This is another one for adding glitter with stardust pens. I am also entering it into the sketch challenge for Just Us Girls. I love the challenges on Just Us Girls, but with the holidays I haven't had the time to play like I would like. I hope to remedy that.
Some more about my card, I used Purr-fectly Delightful from Gina K Designs and illustrated by Theresa Momber. This is one of my favortie stamps that Theresa has done. I had colored this image up last week and then tossed it aside and it was headed for the trash and then when Theresa was here I showed her how I thought I had messed it up and was going to toss it. She thought it wasn't bad, so that made me rethink it and give it another try and I am glad I did as I am happy with the results, thanks Theresa.
For the last couple of months I have been working on resetting my focus on the direction I want to go with this wonderful hobby so you may notice some slight changes in how I do things. I have had some wonderful successes over the last few years, but feel I have became a little stagnant lately and I am looking to change that. :-) Thank you for stopping by.

Thank you
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. My sister was here for a visit and we had a great time together, and we even stayed up until the new year something that I rarely do anymore. Today I have a anther card I made for the countdown challenges are StampTV. This is another one for the adding glitter with stardust pens. The other card I made for this challenge I didn't have one of the clear pens so I used glitter. I ask Theresa if she had one and could bring it so I was able to use it on this card. I used a set from Gina K Designs that is illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger called Buds and Vases. I have had this set for awhile but not go around to using it much, it is a great set so hopefully I will be using it more in the near future. Thank you for stopping by.
