Gina K Designs Design Team Challenge
Well it is that time again, when Gina post her challenge to win a spot as a Guest Designer. This month she challenged us to use a technique from one of her videos on StampTV. If you haven't watch any of these videos then you are in for a treat. Gina does an fantastic job showing how to do all types of neat techniques. I picked Nestabilites Highlighting. I took the highlighting a step farther and used some post it notes to create a scene background. After sponging the sand, sea and sky I gave it some texture with the sand stamp from the Aloha stamp set. I also use a white gel pen to make some waves in the sea. I also used the sketch from this weeks sketch challenge on StampTV. Thank you for stopping by.

Inspiration Challenge there is still time
I a late getting this on my blog. To be honest I have been so busy and feeling very creative. This is from my weekly inspiration challenge on StampTV. I found this gorgeous stain glass medallion on Cornerstone Emporium. As soon as I saw this I knew it had to be the one for this week.
Here is the card I made. I was inspired by the circular shape.
I used the doily from Nana's Needlework. I only colored the center section and then cut it out with a nestabilites circle. After cutting out the circle medallion I inked it with versamark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder
repeating about three times until I had a nice smooth finish. It is hard to see in the photo but I stamped the entire image on the base to give a shadow effect.
Here are the details to enter.
Please upload
your creation to the STV gallery, using the tag STVINSPIREBT8.
You do not need to use Gina K Designs stamps to participate,
although
we'd love it if you did! In fact, if you use Gina K Stamps in your
entry, that your name will be added to the prize drawing TWICE! Please
be sure to create a new project for the challenge versus linking
up something you've created before. You have until next Tuesday July
27, at 8pm CST, to upload your sample. One winner will be drawn at
random to win a Gina K stamp set valued at $24.95 or less!
In order to be included in the
random drawing for a free GKD stamp set, please create a new card (or
project) for each challenge that you participate in. Using one card for
multiple challenges is not permitted. Please read the challenge specifications
carefully as only those that follow the challenge closely will be put
into the drawing for the prize.

Wishing You
Ok today I have a card I made for two challenges. The first is for Melissa's sketch challenge on StampTV. The other challenge is for Speedy the Cat's challenge to use a punch. I finally was able use Seeds of Kindness. What a fun set to color. I also used a color combo that is way out of my normal, but I really like it and was just a little surprised. Unfortunately that colors didn't photograph very well. I need to get going on my challenge for later this week so I will go for now. Thank you for stopping by.

Mahalo
Hello everyone I hope you are having a fabulous weekend. Too bad it is nearly over, as the weather here has been gorgeous!! I am finally starting to feel better I can't beleive how much that sinus/eye infection took it out of me. I made this card for a couple of challenges the first being for Copic Creations to color a bird, well as soon as I saw that challenge I knew that I wanted to ink up one of the birds from Theresa's newest set Aloha. I also used the colors from Carla's color challenge on StampTV. Which I am barely getting in before the deadline. The colors for the challenge are orange, green and turquoise ad hard combo for me until I releazied that it is a perfect combo for a tropical card. I wish you all a wonderful week. Thank you for stopping by.
