Recessed Apples
This is a card I made for Lee's color challenge on StampTV. The colors are red, brown and cream. I watched a video that Beate did last week showing how to make a card with a recessed window. I knew then that I had to give it a try. I really enjoyed making this card. I used the newest StampTV kit Signs of Autumn for the apples and images on the inside.
This has to be the most I have every decorated the inside of a card. Normally I don't do anything and if I do it is very little. I guess I am just a lazy stamper! So I spent much of the day today cleaning my stamp room. It had been a long time since I had taken the time to clean and it looked much like a bomb had gone off in here! It is much better now and if I can just keep it clean, like that will happen!
I would like to thank all of you for you wonderfully sweet comments on my cards! They have been such a joy to read, I have had a fabulous time working this last month or so on Center Stage Spotlight team. It has been the most rewarding and satisfying experience I have had since I began stamping. So thank you again for the lovely comments and the support from all of you.
Thank you for stopping by.

An Elegant Hop
Welcome to my blog tonight we are showcasing Nina Brackett's latest stamp set Elegant Post for Gina K Designs. I am happy to be part of this blog hop, this is such a fun set to work with. For my card I did a little creative stamping, the post in this set is single sided and I wanted to have it double so I dusted off my stamp-a-ma-jig and made the post a double sided plant hanger. The flower pots are cut out and then attached to the DP. The cutting was not as bad as it may seem just time consuming. Finally I made this for Lee's pot luck Friday challenge today on StampTV.
It is a recipe challenge, 1 or more designer paper, 2 or more different types of bling, 3 or more pastel colors, 4 or more layers.
For more inspiration with her Elegant Post stamp set tonight, please see Nina Brackett's blog. Nina has also designed two gorgeous digital paper pack that coordinate perfectly with her stamp set. They are called Grungy Elegance and Simple Elegance.
Nina has asked her friends Silke Ledlow and Melissa Czapor to join in her blog hop tonight. We also have several of GinaK's Senior Design team members participating: Cathy, Donna, Emily, Erika, Gina, Jessica, Kurtis, Lee, and Theresa
And finally, be sure to check out my fellow CenterStage Spotlight Design team members' blogs: Shannon Bracken, and Sue Walsh for even more great projects!

Inspiration Mosaic Blog Hop
Tonight is the Blog Hop for Melanie Muenchinger's newest stamp set called Inspiration Mosaic. I am excited to share three cards with you tonight. I love this set as it can be used so many ways. For my first and last cards I paper pieced, and for the second card I stamped right on some gorgeous Basic Grey paper from their Wisteria collection. Full details below.
I have seen several cards done like this quilt card and I loved it so this is my take on it. After paper piecing the mosaic I embossed with a cuttlebug folder to give it texture.
On this card I stamped right on the DP. For the kids walking I stamped and then colored them with copics and next cut them out. I know that sounds hard but it really isn't that bad if you have some cutterbee scissors.
On this card I used stamps and paper from the newest stamp kit from Gina K Designs. Gina has a couple of videos on StampTV showcasing this set. Thank you for stopping by and make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team and Guest Designers linked below I know you will not be disappointed. Rumor has it that Melanie has some blog candy, good luck.
For more inspiration check out Melanie's blog.
Melanie also has several guest designers joining in on the hop tonight:
Jennie Harper, Tina Gilliland, Linda Payne, and Jenny Charboneau

Trying to catch up!!
I have been so busy with work and I have fallen behind on posting the last couple of days, I do apologize. Second I would like to thank you all for the lovely comments on my cards, they truly mean a lot to me and never fail to put a smile on my face and sometimes I even let out a chuckle which usually causes my husband to ask what is so funny.. I had such a wonderful time being on Gina's Center Stage Spotlight Design Team this last month. It was fun fast paced and so very exciting to be included with such talented ladies. It was so fun to be able to share my cards with you using the fabulous stamps from Gina K Designs.
For my first card I made it for a couple of challenges. the first one is Lee's Double take challenge to use different stamps sets one for the background and a different one for the main image. The second challenge is for Artful Sentiments which is a copic color challenge. I did a wood grain technique on a background using Melanie's newest stamp set Inspiration Mosaic. The horse and sentiment are from Theresa's Outwest set, both stamp sets are from Gina K Designs.
On my second card I made is for JenMarie's color challenge on StampTV, using the colors pink and green. The second challenge is CPS for the sketch, and the third is for Pile-it-on to use three or more flowers. I used two stamps sets from Gina K Designs for this card, Take Flight and Botanical Dreams.
I always have received some awards lately and haven't posted about them. Thank you Tina, Geri and Selma.

Timeless Treasures Blog Hop
Tonight we are having a special blog hop featuring Theresa Momber newest stamp set from Gina K Designs. The set is called Timeless Treasures and it is a beautifully drawn set and prefect for vintage scrap booking as well as great for making cards.
For my project I decided to make a little memory box. I followed the directions for a 3X3 box I found on SplitCoast Stampers. For the cameo to fit I needed to make a slight change to the sizes. Mine is a 3 1/2X 3 1/2 . For the base I started with 5 1/2 square piece of card stock, and scored at 1 inch on all for sides. The top is 4 3/4 inch square of designer paper and scored at 3/4 inch on all four sides. I colored the cameo with Koh-I-Noor pencils and OMS. I know hard to believe that I didn't use copics, but I couldn't get the look I was wanting with them. The gorgeous burgundy paper is a suede card stock I found at my local scrap book store. The fleurs-de-lis is an EK Success punch that I embellished with a tiny pearl. I used a Martha Stewart boarder punch to finish the edges of the lid, then I added some decorative braid that I bought at JoAnn's. I hope you enjoyed my project today.

Moments Last
First I would like to say I am sorry for not posting much this week. I have been very busy getting cards made for the July release for Gina K Designs. The party was last Thursday evening and if you missed it wow what a lot of fun it was. Jam packed with tons of gorgeous cards and chit chat. The parties are fast moving, but I wouldn't miss them. Now that that is behind I will be posting the cards I haven't shown you here on my blog. Oh and make sure to check back here on Monday at 10:00p.m. CST there will be a blog hop featuring Theresa Momber's newest set Timeless Treasures.
For today's card I used Theresa's set Timeless Treasures. I created the background using the polished stone technique. I colored using copic markers then carefully applied glossy accents to the glasses and hourglass. The hardware is from Tim Holtz, boy I love his stuff, they are wonderful accents for this set. the mats are chocolate kiss and the card base is soft sand both from Gina K Designs, if you haven't tried any of her pure luxury paper it is fabulous!! It is a nice heavy card stock and the colors are gorgeous. To finish the card I paper pierced in two of the corners. Thank you for stopping by.
