Just a quick post tonight. I made this card for Sue's sketch challenge on StampTV. I used kite from Eclectic Summer and the sentiment is from Bug Me Anytime both from Gina K Designs. The paper is from Basic Grey's lemonade collection. The card base and ribbon are purely pomegranate retired from Stampin' UP. For the kite I I stamped it on white colored it with copics (RV19 and Y15) then cut it out and stamped it again on the DP colored in the bows with a white gel pen and continued the string of the paper.
Don't forget the check out Gina's Design Team again today they have some AMAZING cards to so you. You can start on Gina's blog.
Thank you for stopping by.

Are we ther yet?
Welcome to day two of Gina K Designs July release. I am so excited to be a CenterStage Guest Designer this month! Be sure to join us for the release party on SplitCoast Stampers on Thursday at 7 p.m. CST. There will be tons of eye candy, contests, challenges, chatter. It is a whole lot of fun, I hope you can join us. If you are new to Gina K Designs release parties Theresa wrote a tutorial on it back in June that you may find helpful.
The set I am showing you is Rupa Shevde's newest set called Are we there yet? What a fun set for me to show you, my family and I love to head out in our RV and spending time camping.
So for my first card I used the motor home and created this scene. I started by stamping the motor home and then created a mask so I could sponge in the ground and sky. For the sky I used Jessica technique using a scallop circle and a type of mask. You can see her tutorial here. I also used Tree Silhouettes from Gina K Designs. So did you notice that wonderful green paper? It is new with this release and it is fabulous. It is called Green Apple and it goes very well with Gina's other papers, here I paired it up with In the Navy and Soft Sand. To color in the motor home I used Memento markers which you Gina also sells. And the screw head brads, yes you guessed it Gina sells those to.
Now for card number two. For this card I used the bicycle, and still using the new Green Apple Pure Luxury card stock. This time I paired it with Chocolate Kiss and Soft Sand. Now check out that
FAB designer paper, it is from Basic Greys new June Bug and Gina will be selling this fantastic paper starting Thursday night. Gina will also be adding Basic Greys new Lemonade paper to her store on Thursday.
For more projects made with the stamps previewed today, be sure to check out our other Senior Design Team Member's Blogs:

and, be sure to check out our other CenterStage Spotlight Design Team member blog for a card made with Timeless Treasures by Shannon Bracken.

Go ahead you deserve it!
I am so excited to be hosting the Pot Luck challenge this week on StampTV. The first thing I thought of for a pot luck challenge was food, I mean that is what a pot luck is you bring food.
So here is my card, I used 100% Sweet by Rupa Shevde from Gina K Designs. I colored with copics and cut the ovals and scallop ovals with nestabilities. The card base is rose red, the rest of the paper is from Basic Grey's Lemonade collection.
I hope you get a chance to play. If you do you have a chance to win a stamp set from Gina K Designs valued at $24.95 or less. And if you use stamps from Gina K Designs in you card you will get you name put it twice! The deadline for this challenge is Friday July 31, at 8:00 a.m. CST.
Thank you to all of your for concerns on my shoulder. It is much better today and I think it will be back to normal in the next day or two. Which is a good thing as I have my new stamps for the Gina K Designs release. I will have a card for you all to see early next week and the release party is on Thursday July 30th. You will love the stamps from this release. Gina has been having a few snippets on her blog each day if you want a little tease. Thank you for stopping by.

You're a catch!
First I want to thank all of you that left me well wished for my shoulder. It is better today, though I think I may have over done it just a bit, but on the mend never the less.
I made this quick card for Shannon's and Lee's challenges on StampTV. Shannon had a sketch and Lee's was to make a card for a young boy with now bling or pink. The stamps are from Eclectic summer and Eclectic summer sayings both from Gina K Designs. Thanks for looking.

Happy Camper
I made this for Gina's technique challenge over on StampTV. In her latest video she shows how to do Smackin' Acetate. I had never done that before so this is my first try, and I am happy with how it came out and it was easy to! I used Theresa's newest stamp set Happy Camper from Gina K Designs. I colored and cut out the tent and sign. The trees are from Tree Silhouettes also from Gina K Designs.
On a side note I have injured my shoulder and I don't know how. The doctor said it is tendinitis. Here is what he knows though he thinks I did it stamping, no way am I giving that up! So as a result I need to rest my shoulder and arm for a few days and my not get anything new stamped and posted until the weekend. Hopefully it will not take that long and I can get back at it in a day or two. Thanks for stopping by.

Bella's Truck??
First off I want to tell you all that I am sorry that I haven't been posting much this last week. I have been super busy with work and then a small case of missing creativity. Good news is that I have found my creativity, but still busy with work. I will try to get more posts in this week. I am expecting my stamps for my Guest design spot for Gina K Designs tomorrow so that may slow me down as I can't post anything made with them until the sneak peeks and release party. I will tell you that the stamps are fabulous!!
On to my card, I made this for Sue Morris's color challenge this last week on StampTV. Sue is one of the ladies that is also a guest designer this month and she challenged us to use red, black and white on a card. I used the pickup from The Journey from Gina K Designs. I started by coloring it red going for the look of Bella's truck from Twilight, then ended up going a different direction with the card. I do that all the time. The truck is cut and and then glued down to the black. The card is not one of my favorites and I can defiantly do better. I do have another card for tomorrow this one uses smackin' acetate. Thanks for stopping by.

100% Sweet
This is my card for Jessica's sketch challenge on StampTV and for Creative Inspirations challenge to use gems or pearls. I used Rupa's newest set 100% Sweet from Gina K Designs. I have always loved chocolate/vanilla swirl cones, so when I saw this image I knew what I wanted to do. I colored with copics (of course), the paper is from Basic Grey's Bittersweet collection. The card base is pretty in pink and the mats are chocolate chip.
If you get a chance do some of the challenges on StampTV, they have FIVE a week and you can win some of the best stamps out there. Thanks for stopping by.

The base is barely banana, the designer paper is from Basic Grey Lemonade with a mat of certainly celery. For the mat behind the cupcake I sponged with pretty in pink and so saffron from opposite corners and the stamped the swirls. The cupcake and sentiment are from 100% Sweet and the swirl is from Whimsical Autumn both from Gina K Designs.
I will be back tomorrow with a card I made for the sketch challenge on StampTV. Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday folder
I made this for my Mom's birthday today. Happy Birthday Mom. It is a combo birthday card and gift wrap folder. for those of you that don't know my mom is a huge stamper like I am and we always get each other stamping related things for each other on birthdays and such. This time I bought her some My Favorite Things stamps as she didn't have any yet. I wanted a unique way to give them to her and came up with this idea. I used one of my new stamps sets, Bug me anytime illustrated by Nina Bracket the sentiment is from eclectic summer sayings both from Gina K Designs. The technique challenge this week on StampTV is popping pastels. I have never tried this technique until now and I love it.
To make the folder I used one piece of double sided 12x12 paper that I cut to 12x11. I then scored 5 1/4 inch in from each side of the 11 inch side. Next I scored 4 inches. Last I rounded the corners, added a magnetic closer and made an insert then I was ready to decorate the outside.
As with most of my cards this is also for several challenges listed below.
StampTV: Popping Pastels
Creative Inspirations: Gems or Pearls, pearls for the center of the flowers
No time to Stamp: Let the sparks fly, glitter on the butterfly
Ann's Creative Nook: Something that has wings and flies, the butterfly
Whimsy Stamps: to create something for a birthday
Thank you for stopping by.

Hang in there
Well have you heard yet? Gina is having a HUGE sale, click here for all the details and for a chance to win some blog candy.
I used Whatever Floats your Boat for my card. I have loved this set and bought it when it first came out. The first thing I think of when I see the elephant is the circus, so I went with the theme and made an attempt at a circus tent. I created the "tent" by drawing the stripes on some barely banana card stock and then coloring the red stripes. I did a little shading at the point were the tent would start angling up to the top. Next I cut it out and attached it to a card base of barely banana. the "ring" is an oval of kraft that has been trimmed to have a flat edge for the bottom. For the tent top I colored a piece of barely banana with the same red copic, punched with a scallop edge punch and the popped it up. The elephant is colored with copics and then cut out. I used the umbrella from Melanie Muenchinger's set Just So Hippy. The sentiment is form Nina Brackett's newest set Bug Me Anytime. Some of the other ladies on the design team are posting cards tonight featuring sets from the lucky seven sale, be sure to check them out.

So Sweet
I am back and boy did I miss stamping. It didn't help that I had my new Gina K Designs order from the last release and couldn't get to them.
So I made this card really quick for three challenges. I will list them below with the details. About the card, I used 100% Sweet, Rupa Shevde's newest set from Gina K Designs. I colored with copics, the designer paper is Basic Grey's Lime Rickey. The card base is pixie pink. The photo corners are two different punches and then layered.
Okay I have some more exciting news... I am going to be a guest designer in September for Pile It On. Pile It On is a great challenge blog, if you haven't checked it out yet please do. As many of my regular readers know I love to combine challenges and that is their main thing, you do their challenge and you must combine it with at least one other challenge.
Challenges:
StampTV: Cat's Sketch challenge
StampTV: Lynn's Potluck Friday challenge to use punches
Pile It On: To use three different embellishments and at least one other challenge. Embellishments I used are prima flower, BG pearl, ribbon and corner punches.
copics: BG01, BG10, BV17, E29, E37, R29, RV21, YR000

Some exciting news!!!
At the end as June Gina from Gina K Designs and StampTV emailed me and ask if I would be willing to be a Center Stage spotlight Guest Designer for July. As soon as I could breath normally (which did take a little bit) I emailed her back and said YES!! I am completed shocked still, it is such an honor to be selected. As my regular readers already know I love Gina K Designs stamps. If you have never been to StampTV head over now, it is an awesome site with tons of tutorials and Gina posts a new video or two every Wednesday. These are the super talented ladies I get to work with this month Dawn Lusk, JenMarie Taylor, Shannon Bracken, Sue Morris, and Sue Walsh. Somebody please pinch me! The hardest part for me right now is that I am on vacation and have very limited internet access, so I am unable to comment much, and I have not made any new cards in days. I do have some supplies with me and I am going to try to get a few cards made over the next week.
I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Fourth of July!
