Yellow Rose
This is a birthday card I made for my wonderful mother-in-law for her birthday a few weeks ago. I used the rose from A Year of Flowers by Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K Designs. I colored the roses with copic markers and then cut them out and glued them to whisper white sponged with wild wasabi. The base is summer sun, with a mat of wild wasabi.

Be Mine
I made this card for Jessicia Fick's challenge on PaperCraft Planet. The stamp if a very old (1996) stamp from Stampendous. The sentiment is a rub-on. I used Basic Grey paper Bittersweet, love that paper. I had to hand cut the heart as I don't have any of the nestabilities heart dies :( . Thanks for stopping by.

Simple Inspirations
I loved today's inspiration so much that I made another card and worked it in with another challenge. This one was for Erika Martin's for the January release for Gina K Designs. I used A Year of Flowers again, can you tell I am loving this set. The sentiment is from Carolyn King's set Whimsical Autumn also from Gina K. Designs. I used this calendar for my inspiration. This card took a lot of masking, but otherwise was an easy card just time consuming. I colored with copic markers. The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch. Thank for stopping by.

Inspired Tulips

I used a page from this calender for my inspiration, it is the third one down the left side if you click on see more images. I really enjoyed making this card, I used copic markers (have a mentioned how much I love them), cut out the image and the mat with labels one nestabilities. For the background I left the paper in the die and masked the flowers, then sponged with pretty in pink. the flowers are from A Year in Flowers by Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K. Designs. The sentiment is also Gina K. Designs from a set by Rupa Shevde, Whatever Floats Your Boat. Thank you for stopping by.

Casing Lori Craig
Today's featured stamper on SCS is Lori Craig aka stamp_momma. Here is the card I choose. Lori has a beautiful gallery with a ton of cards to choose from, making this a hard choice.
So when you case for a featured stamper you need to change at least two things on the card, it does appear at first glance that I completely cased Lori, but there are several changes to my card. They are:
1. A couple of color changes, ink and my blue paper are very close, but are still different.
2. The stamps are different.
3. The ribbon and slide are different and I didn't use a sentiment because mine was on my slide. Thank you for stopping by.

Butterfly Beauty
This is a card a made using Unity's Butterfly Beauty and Gratitude = Joy. The butterfly was stamp and colored with koh-i-noor pencils and blended with OMS, then cut out and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. For the antennae I just cut them off and after attaching the butterfly to the card I drew in new ones. For the background I sponged with blue bayou, old olive and so saffron, then I stamped the bamboo with close to cocoa. The sentiment is from warmest regards (retired) from Stampin' Up. Thanks for stopping by.

Keep it Clean
At the end of last month Joanne Basile posted a challenge, and the winner would be ask to make a sample for her next challenge. Well, I won that challenge with this card, I was thrilled, excited and surprised to win. The new challenge begins today. Keep it Clean is the new challenge, you can add only two layers to your card base, and a total of three embellishments, and of course you have to use Gina K Designs stamps.
So on to the cards, I made two samples the first one uses Retro Boutique, I colored the purses and the top of the dresses with copic markers and paper pieced the skirt with papers from DCWV .
My second card uses A Year of Flowers and Botanical Dreams. I also used copic markers to color the rose, then I masked the roses and sponged the background with old olive ink.
I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Joanne for giving me this opportunity. I loved making these cards and what an honor it is to be chosen.
Thank you for stopping by.

Puppy Love
My first Valentine's Day card for this year. I had this idea and had to make a trip to Michael's to get a mirror image stamp so I could have the puppies "kissing". I colored the puppies with copic markers and then used koh-i-noor pencils with OMS to help with the shading. I then cut them out and mounted them on red on the inside of the card. I wanted to look like they were in a window so I used label one nestabilities, to create that look. The sentiment is computer generated. The small heart in the circles is a brad. Thank you for stopping by.
