SSSC66

I made this card a few days ago for the color challenge on StampTV for the April release for Gina K Designs.  The colors were turquoise and yellow.  The other challenge is the sketch challenge for Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSSC66.  I loved this sketch.

I am again keeping this post short, it has been a tough week at work and boy oh boy it has killed my creativity.  I am so looking forward to the weekend.  Thank you for stopping by.

May Flowers

I made my first card for VSN on SplitCoast Stampers!!  Theresa is hosting a challenge called May Flowers, to pop up you flower.  Easy enough, except you have to make your card in 45 minutes or less.  For me that can be a problem, I often take hours to make a card.  This time though I did some planning before I started and wow it helped I finished just in time and managed to squeeze one other challenge in.  By starting with the sketch challenge from CPS (cps163) I was about it really speed it up.  I will be doing more of these challenges what a fun way to get and get a card done.
Here is a close up of the popped up flowers.

I would like to thank everyone for the well wishes.  My allergies are starting to ease up which is helping me to feel better.  Thank you so much for stopping by.

CSS Creative Cookout Cookbook Hop

It's time for another CSS Blog hop!

Several members of the CenterStage Spotlight Alumni team have gathered some of their favorite BBQ Picnic recipes together for us to make another cookbook!  The cookbook will be available for FREE over on the StampTV Freebie page for you to download and print at your leisure.

But, since we are paper crafters - we challenged them even further to make a project with their recipe in mind to share with us tonight on their blogs!  (The projects are also included in photos on the recipe booklet as well.)

Here is a photo of my project.

And here is a photo of the invite I made.

So are you hungry yet?  If not you will be by the time you take a look at all the delicious recipes.  Thank you for stopping by.  Enjoy the hop!

Please check out the links of all the participating designers and then download the Recipe booklet and let us know how you like them!

As a stated in my last post Gina has a challenge on StampTV  for a guest spot for the next stamp release.  This is my second card for the challenge.  The challenge is to use a stamp set from the last release and a favorite childhood book as inspiration. For this card I was inspired by the Disney Classic Bambi.  I used Theresa's latest set Sending Sunshine

Are You My Mother?

I going to try to keep this short as I have one more post for you today.   Over on StampTV Gina has a challenge for a guest spot for the next stamp release.  The challenge is to use a stamp set from the last release and a favorite childhood book as inspiration.  It was a very easy choose for me, one of my very favorite books was a Dr Seuss book called Are You My Mother?  As soon as I read the challenge I knew without a doubt that I would use this super cute image from Spring Has Sprung.

Here is a photo of the cover of the book.

Thank you for stopping by.

Casing Theresa

Have you heard?? Theresa Momber is featured stamper on SCS today!!!  I am the lucky one to have her visiting me this weekend!  Last evening Theresa and I were stamping in my stamp room when she received the email that she was going to be featured today.  I am very happy and proud of Theresa.   I have been wanting to case many of Theresa's cards and now I had the chance, yay.  There was a little bit of a problem for me, I was casing Theresa with her stamping three feet away from me, talk about pressure.

I choose this beautiful card to case.  I changed the colors, didn't paper pierce the corners and didn't add any ribbon.  I also added the beautiful tulip from from Melanie Muenchinger's last set A Beautiful Life.

Paper: Fresh Asparagus, Lemon Drop
Ink: memento tuxedo black, new sprout, bamboo leaves, copics
