Lovely birthday

This is the card I made for my dad's birthday today. Happy Birthday Dad. I stamped the trees in old olive on water color paper that I had misted with water, after that had dried completely I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the trees again this time in chocolate chip. Next I sponged the edges with creamy caramel and then chocolate chip. I distressed the edges and then assembled the card. Thanks for looking.

Lovely Trees

I made this card by stamping the roll of trees, and the large tree from Lovely as a Tree on glossy card stock.. I first inked with versamark and then basic black so that I could heat emboss them. I punched a circle out of a post it note making sure to punch at the top so that it punched where the sticky part is. I used this to mask off for the sun. With the circle(mask) in place I sponged with so saffron first then more mustard, ending with really rust. For the ground I sponged with creamy caramel, I sponged heavier for the shadows of the trees. Thanks for looking.

Pocket Kindness

I made this for the limited supply challenge (lsc186) from yesterday on SCS, and also for Allison's (from Stampin' When I Can) suggestive Sunday challenge to use a silhouette. I had a hard time with the limits on this one but in the end was happy with my card. I found the instruction from Julie at Paper Pleasing Ideas, here is a link to the tutorial. Thanks for looking.

Best Wishes

This was a super quick card I made for a friend at work, she got a better job and has left us. She will be missed very much but I wish her the best in her venture. I stamped the background with baroque motifs in pretty in pink. For the main image I stamped with basic gray and the flowers with pretty in pink. The sentiment is from sincere salutations. Last I added small clear rhinestones to the center of the flowers. I think it took me about 10 minutes to complete the card, and that included designing it. It is not my best card I have ever made, but you can't bet it when you need a card fast. Thanks for looking.

Birthday Daisies

This is the card I made last week for Jessica Fick's waste not want not challenge. so the challenge was to use all of a 6x6 piece of patterned paper on a card. Not an easy thing for me to do. I used the daisy from Flowers for Daisy after stamping and coloring with pencils and oms, I cut the daisies out and removed the stem. Then I inked the daisy with versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

On the inside I used a 2x2 piece layered on a square of river rock and then on ruby red. On the left side I used a piece 2x4 to create a pocket for a gift card. Thanks for looking.

Pocket Silhouette for Beate

I made this card for Beate's weekend sketch challenge (WSC56). The stamped image is stamped in chocolate chip once and then stamped three times without reinking. To make the scallop braid I used my new scallop edge punch like normal and then on the other side I offset the scallops and punched it again, this gave the look of a braid. Thanks for looking.

Skate Boarding Turtle

I made this card for Cammie's sketch challenge for Friday night's release party for Gina K. Designs. I just love this turtle from Whatever floats your boat. I used my aqua pen and ink pads to color him. Thanks for looking.

Purse Addiction

I made these cards for Unity's Hip Hop Thursday this week. During the posting craziness a challenge was issued to make a card using polka dots. I love Unity's stamps so these where fun for me to make. for the purses I stamped them on designer paper and heat embossed them. The price tag were made by stamping the numbers on shrink plastic and cutting in a tag shape. I attached them with beading wire and a crimp bead.

For the flower card I colored the stamp with markers and added gems to the center. The river rock layer is stamped with versamark ink and heat embossed with clear powder.
Super simple card.
